The department of Science and humanities  was established in the year 2011 and it has emerged as a department pursuing excellence. The department has a team of highly-qualified and well-experienced faculty members .The department has 13 faculty members. Faculty members are experts in emerging fields of Mathematics, Physics, Communication skills and have made significant contributions in their own fields. The department has well established laboratories for Physics and communication skills. The aim of the department is to broadly educate aspiring engineering students in the basics of Mathematics, Physics and English which serve as a platform for the growth of students in their further study of Technical subjects. We nurture our students to understand the fundamentals and the application of Mathematics and Physics; an ability to function effectively on multi disciplinary teams and a proficiency in oral and written communication.

Message from Head of Department

Department of Science and Humanities is the foundation of engineering education. It strives and wishes for increasing the knowledge, enhancing the critical thinking, ability to change information into knowledge and power of analyzing technically of each and every individual student. The purpose of Science and Humanities in Engineering study is to lay a strong foundation of basic principles of various disciplines such as Mathematics, Physics and Communication Skills in the minds of the students, so that they proceed to study with up to date knowledge and training of basic engineering skills. Our Laboratories are very well established not only to cover complete syllabus but to motivate the students to learn beyond the syllabus also.

Core mission of the Department is to realize the creative potential and fire the imagination of all its members and to promote learning in the cultural tradition of India. The goal of the Department is to equip its students to make effective contributions to society and the Industry.
