The EC Engineering (Electronics and Communication) Department was established in year 2006. The Department started with under graduate programme in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
The first most prime important mission of the EC department is to produce the engineer to use their skill for entrepreneurship. The Department has well qualified faculties and technical assistants. The Department has reach library with technical journals. Our efforts will be to have the proper placement of the Graduate engineers through our LDRP-ITR. Contribute to overall techno-economical development of the State in particular and Nation in general and improve quality of life of communities.”

Vision of Department:
Our vision is to start post graduate courses in Electronics & communication fields, are as follows:-
VLSI TECHNOLOGY, COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY, IMAGE PROCESSING, EMBEDDED SYSTEM.
The next phase is definitely towards Consultancy, Testing and R&D activities, which will be taken up by the EC department. The student can take the guidance from the faculty for the Research work for the award of their Ph.D. Degree.
Consultancy program for design work of various products which are related to the field.
Industry interfacing for the placement and training.
Mission of Department:
The first most prime important mission of the EC department is to produce the engineer to use their skill for entrepreneurship. Our efforts will be to have the proper placement of the Graduate engineers through our LDRP INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND RESEARCH. Contribute to overall techno-economical development of the State in particular and Nation in general and improve quality of life of communities.”
DR. SHRIDHAR E. MENDHE
Professor & Head
Dear all,
Electronics and Communications Engineering plays a pivotal role in ushering the students to be a prospective engineer. The department nurtures and molds the students to enter in the rapid fast changing pragmatic world yet maintaining the sensitivity in them.
The teaching –learning methodology used by staff boosts the students thinking potential and lifts their critical analyzing skills. As most of the students come from diversified social environment it becomes a need for the department that they are mentored by the staff with whom they can share their thoughts, expectations, express themselves and would feel comfortable away from home.
The faculties have excellent academic records and are highly regarded amongst students. The activities like Expert Lectures, Industrial Visits, Technical Events, Sports and Cultural Events, Soft Skills etc widens their horizon and avert them from being monotonous with academics.
To conclude, the department catalyzes and assures a very healthy, amicable but a competitive ambience for our future engineer.
